Recent Ipsos poll shows Cruz trailing O'Rourke in Senate race

Ipsos released a series of House and Senate polls on Friday, and we found one to be particularly compelling.
With one of the toughest Senate maps in recent history, Democrats will likely need an unprecedented upset to take control of the upper chamber. One race that is surprisingly heating up is the Texas race between Republican incumbent Ted Cruz, and Democratic challenger Beto O' Rourke.
A poll released by Ipsos today showed O'Rourke ahead of Cruz. Most projections have Cruz winning the race, but polling over the last month has shown that the contest has gotten closer -- to the point where a Cruz victory is no longer a given.
