Siena College/New York Times polls show Democratic surge in House races
The Democrats appear to be gaining momentum in pivotal House races as we inch towards Election Day. Several polls conducted by Siena College/New York Times show strong results for Democrats in key races.
The poll that perhaps stands out most was taken in Kansas' 3rd congressional district. Democratic candidate Sharice Davids won the poll of 264 registered voters over Republican incumbent Kevin Yoder in a comfortable fashion, 50-37 . Our projections have had Yoder slightly ahead for most of the last few months, but recently flipped blue as a result of Davids' strong performance in the polls.
Other results include Democrats pulling away from Republican challengers in key districts in Colorado, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. A summary of all Siena College/New York Times polling can be found here:
